Description
Alliance Nursing are seeking qualified AGED CARE Registered and Enrolled Nurses to provide a high standard of nursing care including medication administration, wound management, palliative care, and documentation.

Duties:
Registered Nurses
• Experience working in aged care and with people who have dementia would be highly regarded.
• Demonstrate an understanding of the Aged Care Quality and Safety Standards.
• Implementing the nursing care plan as assessed for each resident by the health care team and the resident / representative.
• Delivering to residents a holistic concept of care using the resident's care plan, utilising the Person-Centred Care' approach.
• Supervising, managing, and monitoring the standard of care delivered to the residents, ensuring that the care is individualised and person-centred.
• High level of clinical competency and ability to respond to changes in clinical need and deterioration.
• Committed to being part of workplace culture dedicated to supporting good lives for older people.
• Ability to provide leadership and supervision to care workers and Enrolled Nurses
Enrolled Nurses
• Administration of medication
• Wound management
• Support RN and attend tasks as delegated
• Support the utmost wellbeing of the residents
• Supervise Care Worker staff
• Maintain accurate documentation
To be successful in this role, you will have the following:
• Demonstrated up-to-date knowledge and skills in Contemporary Aged Care Services
• Prior experience in a similar role within an Aged Care / Health Sector
• Minimum 600 paid working hours in Australia based in Aged Care industry
• Current unrestricted Registration with AHPRA
• 2024 Flu Vaccination
• Covid Vaccinated and have Booster Shot
• Current National Police Clearance
• NDIS Clearance
• Current First Aid & CPR Certificate
• Current Manual Handling Certificate
• Medication Safety and Calculations
• Must be available across all shift patterns: Day, Afternoon and Night Duty
